¡Ay díos mio! Josh is at it again, I think we should play this just like “Where’s Waldo” -- except we call it “What’s Josh done now?” I can already hear you Bronco fans whining and moaning about the shots I’m taking at Josh. Well, deal with it, hopefully the fur-wearing owner Pat Bowlen will jerk the reins a little con Josh. I saw former star quarterback Tim Tebow (Florida Gators) was in town talking to Los Burros -- them Bronco peoples -- hey Tim go somewhere else, you’ll be better appreciated. I have lived my whole life here in the Mile High City and Timmy these fans will turn on you. I hate to see you waste your talents here; I followed your career at Florida -- Go Gators! -- you deserve better. Besides we have Brady Quinn, still gets me rollin’. Well Josh drafted Tebow, mi sabrino Matias has already started with the ribbing about Tebow becoming a Bronco. Si, Si, I may break down and purchase a Bronco Jersey, which left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully Josh is going use him as trade bait. I saw Josh’s press conference -- blah, blah, blah -- same stuff, different coach. Come on Josh tell the fans why you are so heavy at the QB position, I like the idea, but really Brady Quinn? I’m still rollin’.
Okay enough of that, I see Los Burros 9 – 7 for the season. One little thing before we leave Dove Valley, all you remaining players do not, I repeat do not disagree or argue with Josh – it’s a good way to end up in Chicago or Detroit.
Shocking news out of the Pittsburgh Steelers offices last week. The NFL has suspended Ben Roethlisberger for 6 games, now how is Big Ben suppose to support himself and his entourage, minus the estimated $2.8 million for sitting out the 6 game suspension of his $102 million total deal. Ben’s entourage is comprised of Pennsylvania State Troopers. Who were present when the “alleged sexual assault” happened in a nightclub in Georgia, the victim, that’s right I said VICTIM, was 20 years old, nice going TROOPERS. Come on Ben you screwed up, got caught, unfortunately was not prosecuted. What more do you want or should I say don’t want.
Kudos to you Señor Commissioner Roger Goodell keep them boys in line. This whole story stinks like the Kobie Bryant incident here in Colorado a few years back. Come on you guys, what the hell is going through that pendejo mind of yours. You think you’re above la ley because you’re an athlete, because you can throw a ball farther or make a three pointer. Remember it’s the average José and La Familia that pay your multi-million dollar salaries, by being FANS! Get it. Trade talks were running rampant at Steelers headquarters, I hate to say this but hey Al, -- Al Davis there’s another criminal for our Raider team, get em’ -- we need a quarterback!
Sadly, the Av’s are out of the playoffs, thank god I don’t think I could have watched the punishment any longer. Nice try guys let’s try harder earlier in the season next year. Tío Ronnie called this one. Tambien Los Nuggets are OUT! Otra vez Tío Ronnie told you they would not get past the first round. It’s hard to beat a team like the Jazz with two players -- Carmelo and Chauncey -- sorry guys I know you are disappointed but you played your hearts out. José y La Familia appreciate the season you gave us. I think the Nuggets really need to shake it up -- dump some of the older high salary players and free up some salary cap and go after draft picks. With Chauncey and Carmelo you have something to build on. Take a page out of the “What’s Josh Done Now” play book -- trade’em, trade’em all -- now go out and get them some help.
Finally there is baseball! The Rockies are 7-9 on the road after opening day at Coors Field against the Padres. I guess it’s true about any team, they shine in front of the home crowd and choke in front of strangers. I have not lost faith in the Rockies; remember it’s a long season. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a Cleveland Indians fan, I got Chief Wahoo on my left arm to prove it, the Tribe is currently in 3rd in their respected division.
Shall we talk about the evil empire in baseball, the equal to the Broncos in baseball, the New York Yankees? The Yankees are currently 2nd in their division. I know a lot of you Bronco fans are Yankee fans also. Well I guess it’s open season on the Yankees. Remember the parody the Jerry Seinfeld Show about George Costanza being hired by George Steinbrenner to work for the evil empire. I enjoyed that because it showed what a tonto pendejo Steinbrenner is. I am just getting started on the Yankees, more later.
And finally, golf, El Tigre missed the cut at Quail Hollow, amazing he missed the cut! Enough about that. I think it’s sad that Tigers actions have caused such a large reaction in his game. Man up Tiger, you played, got caught now move on, I hope you can return to form and get back on the links and put all this bs behind you. ¡Ay Chingón! More stuff for my editor to worry about.
