Bueno, tu Tío Ronnie went to the Rockies game....
Bookmark and Share
Bueno, tu Tío Ronnie went to the Rockies game this past Saturday, I sat thru the second game of the double header. The Rockies look good, better than their record, currently three games back of the Padres. The Rockies took three out of four games from the Washington Nationals.

Next up, two against the Cubs, two against the Astros and three against the Royals, before coming back home. It’s a nice way to end a road trip, the Royals are last in their division currently 9.5 games back. More about the Rocks later.

My beloved Indians are currently seven games -- ouch-- seven games back in their division. Well, the season has just started so there is hope, however small or slight there is still hope.

Carlos Santana in a Tribe uniform? ¿Orale Carlos donde está la guitarra? Well, this Santana plays catcher for the Tribes triple “A” Columbus farm team. He is surprising the staff there and in the majors. Carlos had six homeruns as of Friday and his defensive skills are coming along according to general manager Chris Antonetti. There are not very many catchers that will capture tu Tío’s eye pero, Carlos is one to watch, more Tribe news later.

Blah, blah, blah, more caca out of El Tigre’s camp, first is the neck injury (weak). I think the problem with El Tigre is the fact that there is no place on the course for a pole. Add to that the fact he will be crucified financially by his soon to be ex. Sponsors are not happy. No wonder he can’t concentrate and focus on his game. He is also about to lose his number one ranking.

Secondly, Hank Haney his swing coach (and supposed friend) of five years up and quit, stating that he could not teach El Tigre’anything more. While appearing on The Golf Channel, Haney (now remember he is Tigers friend) had this to say when Golf Channel host Jim Gray asked Haney point-blank what El Tigre is in therapy for. The golf instructor candidly said: "Well, the only thing that I knew about was his, you know, issue with the sex addiction." Tiger’s addiction to sex! Well as addictions go, I would say that, that type of addiction is one we can live with, of course as long as no one gets hurt or is underage! Hey LT ya listening?

Now, time for everyone’s favorite game, “What’s Josh done now?” It’s sad, but it has been muy quiet in Dove Valley. Fans are watching Tebow, y estoy babaso! Some fans who shall remain nameless (sobrino Matias y mi amigo Jim T.) are thinking that this is the second coming of Jesús Cristo, (oops) I meant Juan Elway. Even Juanito seems to be impressed with Tebows abilities. Also, he is not giving into the fact that Tebow is a south paw, who experts say is a problem for the receivers, because the ball comes at them with a reverse spin?? Really?? Really?? Then wouldn’t it be the same for the defenders??

Come on you ‘experts’, pull your head out. I don’t see it as a problem, look at Tebows stats; Heisman Trophy winner (the most prestigious award in college football) in his sophomore year, two national championships. Over 2,900 yards rushing, 9,285 yards passing. I hate the fact that he is un Burro, pero cool part, he is a Leo just like tu Tío Ronnie – who is still a Raider fan!

Come over to the dark side, we have candy. Love me or hate me -- at least your thinking of me, tu Tío Ronnie.
