on an April 19 benefit show for La Gente HIV program at Servicios.

Adriana donated a dress to Servicios that she wore to an awards ceremony in México. She supports their domestic violence advocacy program as well.

Danielle Castañeda said Simental, who has worked for Servicios for 16 years, is like a mother to Donnie. She added Servicios has also given food to her when Donnie told them about her own troubles.

“They really make you feel like your welcome no matter who you are and what you, she said. “We need more people like that in this world.”

Servicios will hold an HIV and STD testing day on Monday, May 18th from 3-6pm.

The BES program hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Friday from noon to 5 p.m. An appointment is recommended. Call Servicios at 303/458-5851 or visit them at 4055 Tejon St., Denver, 80211 or online at serviciosdelaraza.org.

Part 2 gives insight to the mental health component of Servicios de la Raza and the assistance they offer.
