Over one million colorful lights draped in elegant designs highlight the York Street Denver Botanic Gardens winter beauty featured in their annual Blossoms of Light display.
Intricate ice sculptures further highlighting the Gardens as a winter wonderland will be placed throughout the gardens path. The Henry Moore sculptures will be illuminated. The Blossoms of Light is on display nightly 5:30pm-9:30pm, through January 2nd.
This spectacular display of colorful lights will be draped in elegant designs throughout the Gardens, illuminating the plants, trees and hardscape features. Romantic kissing spots (marked by ornate balls of mistletoe hung in select areas) and the popular HoloSpex glasses, which magically transform the lights into shimmering 3-D shapes, will return. Special seasonal entertainment, including bell choirs, carolers and dancers, will perform on select nights either strolling in the gardens or performing on our indoor stage. Check website (botanicgardens.org) for a list of entertainment dates and performers. Guests can also enjoy warm drinks and tasty snacks at various food stations through the path.

With the Colorado foothills as a backdrop, this spectacular display will be draped in elegant designs along the countryside, illuminating the plants, trees and hardscape features. Nearly half of all the lights used will be sparkling, energy-saving, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), reflecting the Gardens’ commitment to conservation and sustainability.
