Water World to hire 1000 for 2012 season

Hyland Hills Water World, one of the nation’s largest family water parks, is looking for bright, smiling faces to join their team of over 1,000 employees for the 2012 summer season. Applicants can apply for various jobs including, cashier, food service, gift shop, grounds, lifeguard, and park service teams. Applicants must be 14 years or older on or before May 18 and must drop off their application in person to the Water World Administration Office at appointed times detailed in the application. Most applicants will be interviewed on the spot so applicants should remember first impressions are everything.
Water World offers an outstanding work environment, good pay and flexible work schedules. One outstanding team member who meets the requirements of the All-Summer-Long Attendance Reward will have a chance to win a brand new car or $10,000 cash at the end of the summer! Because Water World is in the fun business, applicants must have great customer service skills, be outgoing, friendly and willing to help others.

Hyland Hills Water World is one of the nation’s largest family water parks boasting 48 thrilling attractions on 67 beautiful acres. Now in its 33rd season, community-owned Water World, which has hosted more than 11 million guests over the years, has been named one of the best water parks in the world by the Travel Channel and the World Waterpark Association. The park is open from the last weekend in May through Labor Day weekend, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, weather permitting. Admission for individuals 48” and taller is $39.99 plus tax, under 48” is $34.99 plus tax, tots under 40” are free and senior citizens are $8.99 plus tax.
