Tell Me a Story will feature stories and music that include “The Woman Who Outshone the Sun.”

Enchanting Latin-American tales come to life through story-telling and music in a delightful bilingual afternoon for the entire family.
Modern Muse Theatre Company in a collaboration with Stories on Stage present “Cuéntame un Cuentito / Tell Me a Story” on Saturday, January 29 at 2pm. at Su Teatro @ the Denver Civic Theatre, 721 Santa Fe Drive, Denver.
This bilingual program, geared to children and families, will feature stories and music that include The Woman Who Outshone the Sun from a poem by Alejandro Cruz Martínez, Baila, Nana, Baila Cuban Folktales Retold by Joe Hayes,
Prietita Y La Llorona by Gloria Anzaldúa, Un Tiempo Perfecto Para Soñar / A Perfect Season for Dreaming by Benjamin Alire Sáenz and Flotando en la Cancion de Mamá / Floating on Mama’s Song by Yuyi Morales.
The cast features actor/musicians Gabriella Cavallero, Caroline Eder, GerRee Hinshaw and Manuel Roybal.
Celebrating their 10th Season, Stories on Stage combines literature with theater to bring short stories to life and
features some of Americas best actors.
