Texas Authors Will Tour State in Texas Born Books Program

SAN ANTONIO, March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting this March Texas authors will be featured in a new program, Texas Born Books, which brings authors together with their readers and introduces readers to new and exciting literary talent. Read to Lead, working with retail partner H-E-B, plans to launch this program in early March as a way to highlight new Texas authors as well as some tried and true favorites.

First on the schedule for Texas Born Books is musician and widower of slain Tejano superstar Selena, Chris Perez.  He will be discussing and signing his new book To Selena With Love at three H-E-B in March.

Each quarter, the Texas Born Books program will feature one Texas author per region of the state for a total of 16 author events per year. Each author's book will be prominently displayed and the author will be featured in a poster in H-E-B stores during the month in which their in-store event takes place.
